Una palang naramdaman ko na

Isang tingin ko palang tunay nang nabasa:

Ikaw ang hantungan at pupuntahan

Ng puso kong ligaw na matagal walang nanahan.


At isang araw, dumating ka na nga

Naulit bukas at mga gabing sumunod pa

Ako ay humanga din nga naman

Pilitin mang pigilan ay lalong nasundan.


Lumalim nang lumalim ang pagsinta

Hindi natin namalayang nagtatagal na pala

Ang dating mga lihim ay nakaya nang banggitin

Mga plano at pasya'y nagsimula nang buuin


Inilahad ang mga bilin at pangako

Na walang kakalas sa pinasok nating ito

Ang totoong damdami'y pilit tinanto

Inusisang mabuti, tunay na sinigurado


Sa harap ng Diyos at ng mga tao

Akong nangako nang buong puso

Na walang kahit na ano o sino

Ang makapaghihiwalay sa akin mula sa'yo


Ngunit kung Maykapal na ang s'yang magpasya

Na tayong dalawa ay maghiwalay na

Sa langit ay hahanapin parin kita

At doon muling susubok nang magkasama


Ngunit habang naandito ka pa

Hayaan mo lang na mahalin kita

Dahil kung aalisin ang mga walang kasiguraduhan

Ikaw na ang nais makapiling magpakailanman.

The Debt You Can Never Pay

While I was looking at the mirror the other day, something suddenly bothered me like a stone thrown high which accidentally hit a window. . .that broke. YES. Just. Like. That. So, there I was, in front of the mirror and then I saw my eye bags  (they look like luggage that time) hanging on top of my very chubby cheeks. They were very, very proud and was looking for a fight  of which has more bragging rights in puffiness  with my, again, very chubby cheeks! Okay, there it is. I was very, very tired upon waking up that morning because I lack so much sleep! All I could say that time was "Wow! Ang pangit ko! (Wow! I am so ugly!)".  And while walking around our house doing my morning preps, all I felt was that I just wanted to stay in bed and go back to sleep FOREVER .
