Nailed, impaled.

Unnoticed, abolished

Killed then sealed

Not of kisses nor embraces

Shockingly, surprisingly,

But of silence and absence.

Lacking resilience

Untrusting. No healing.

Bother to hover

Over security and clarity

Or gather whatever

Is left for the theft?

Churn the taciturn.

Scare the unaware.

Cling to the forgiving.

Favor the requestor.

Boast your fervor,

Roasted in terror.
